Job Description

Under the direction of the   Corporate Accounting Manager, the Accounts Payable Processor compiles and maintains accounts payable records by performing the following duties:

• Answers vendor inquiries or forwards them to the appropriate Department personnel.
• Scans and enters invoices into computer system.
• Prepares accounts payable checks by processing check request and payment approval forms, entering data into a computer, and printing checks.
• Process product invoices using 3-way match, communicating discrepancies with Department personnel.
• Prints all accounts payable reports and maintains all accounts payable files.
• Assists in monthly closings by maintaining A/P logs.
• Assists with year-end financial audits.
• Complies with federal and state safety regulations and with Company safety policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned, delegated, or required.

• What Experience, Skills and Attributes Will You Need to Be Successful?  
  • Minimum two years of accounts payable experience. Business degree a plus
  • Highly organized and detail oriented 
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and knowledge of accounting software
