Backend Developer – Data

LaSalle Network is hiring a Backend Developer – Data for a global organization undergoing a major digital transformation. This company is redefining its customer experience through modern platforms, enhanced data architecture, and a best-in-class eCommerce model. This is a high-impact opportunity to work at the core of that transformation—building data integration APIs that fuel operations across the U.S., Canada, and LATAM.
This role is ideal for a backend developer who loves working with data systems, building scalable APIs, and diving into new platforms like Informatica P360. You’ll work closely with senior IT leaders, including enterprise architects and directors, and have direct influence on the future-state technology stack.

• Develop robust backend APIs to facilitate data integration between Informatica P360 and internal platforms
• Build and maintain data pipelines using Python and JavaScript frameworks (especially Next.js)
• Integrate data with Kafka and PostgreSQL as part of a modern event-driven architecture
• Translate complex data migration needs into scalable, reliable backend solutions
• Collaborate with enterprise architects and senior IT stakeholders to shape architecture decisions
• Troubleshoot integration challenges, improve performance, and support production rollouts
• Stay hands-on with the full development lifecycle, from planning to release

• Experience with backend data integration, ETL workflows, or PIM systems
• Proficiency in Python and JavaScript (Next.js experience a plus)
• Working knowledge of Kafka and PostgreSQL
• Experience with Informatica P360 and its API integrations (strongly preferred)
• Solid understanding of API development and system integration
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work across business and technical teams
• Comfortable interfacing with senior leadership and cross-functional collaborators

Compensation: $120,000 plus a 10% annual target bonus
