Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize CNC lathe programs using MasterCAM for various production runs.
- Set up and calibrate machines for efficient production processes.
- Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC equipment.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve machining processes.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards throughout the production cycle.
- Train and mentor junior programmers and machine operators as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in CNC programming, specifically with CNC lathes.
- Strong proficiency in MasterCAM software.
- Experience with machine setups for production runs.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
