Responsibilities

• Grow and manage a commercial loan and deposit portfolio within the Tallahassee market.

• Leverage existing relationships and identify new business opportunities with middle-market and small-business clients.

• Analyze financial statements, assess creditworthiness, and structure commercial lending solutions.

• Provide tailored banking solutions, including commercial loans, real estate financing, treasury/cash management, and business deposit services.

• Partner closely with credit, treasury, retail, and product teams to deliver a seamless client experience.

• Maintain a strong community presence and represent the bank at networking events and business associations.

• Ensure compliance with internal policies, risk management standards, and banking regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be based in the Tallahassee market with strong local business relationships.

• Proven experience as a Commercial Banker, Relationship Manager, or Business Banker.

• Established book of business and demonstrated ability to grow a commercial portfolio.

• Strong understanding of commercial credit, underwriting fundamentals, and financial analysis.

• Excellent relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
