Job Description

Salary: $107,700 - 212,600 per year Requirements:

  • We are seeking individuals who possess the following qualifications:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or any suitable combination of education, experience, and training.
  • 5 to 7 years of professional experience in software engineering.
  • 3 years of experience in the Machine Learning Engineering field or related areas.
  • Expertise in MLOps, with the ability to articulate its role throughout the machine learning development lifecycle, from experimentation to production and measurement.
  • Proficiency in team collaboration and mentoring others to produce robust, maintainable, and extendable code in Python; using Docker for containerization and CI/CD for automation.
  • Familiarity with frameworks such as Scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Spark, FastAPI, or similar platforms.
  • Expertise in cloud architecture and technologies, particularly Amazon Web Services (AWS), including ECR, SageMaker, Lambda, and API Gateway.
  • Familiarity with pipeline orchestration tools like AirFlow or Databricks Workflows.
  • Strong understanding of data structures, data modeling, and software architecture.
  • Experience with complex datasets, ETL pipelines, SQL, and data engineering general practices.
  • Expertise in tools such as Spark, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Databricks, or Terraform is highly desirable.
  • A solid analytical mindset and experience in leading problem-solving initiatives.
  • Familiarity with agile development and test-driven development principles.
  • Effective communication skills with team members, stakeholders, and in coding contexts.
  • A proven ability to influence technical strategy throughout various aspects of technical design and implementation.
  • Proficiency in providing technical leadership within a team and mentoring others.
Responsibilities:
  • As a Senior AI/ML Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to work with the Corporate Functions Artificial Intelligence team, focusing on delivering AI capabilities for our corporate functions. You will design and implement scalable applications that leverage predictive models and optimization programs to enable data-driven decisions that can create significant business impacts. You will also play a key role in contributing to core advanced analytics, machine learning, and generative AI platforms and tools that facilitate the development of both prediction and optimization models. We value continuous learning and encourage a collaborative environment where team members share knowledge and mentor one another, both within our organization and the broader analytics and engineering communities.

We are open to remote work, with the exception of applicants located in South Dakota, Vermont, and West Virginia. The annual base salary for this role ranges from $107,700 in our lowest geographic market up to $212,600 in our highest geographic market. The actual salary will depend on the candidate’s location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
