Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Physician Assistant - Maternal Fetal Medicine to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County. Kings County Hospital operates a world-renowned Level I Trauma Center, one of only three in Brooklyn, which serves 2.6 million residents of Brooklyn and Staten Island.  The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University to maintain its high healthcare delivery standards.

Opportunity Details:

• Daytime Schedule, with flexibility!
• Provides prenatal care to high-risk obstetric patients.
• Assists in operative cases including pre-, intra-, and post-operative care and provides postpartum follow-up care for high-risk obstetric patients.
• Performs non-stress testing and limited obstetric ultrasound (optional after completion of ultrasound course).
• Provides direct gynecologic and preventative care to patients in ambulatory care and inpatient settings based on department need.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams (neonatology, anesthesiology, cardiology, social services, and other medical subspecialists) to enhance perinatal care coordination.
• Participates actively in departmental quality improvement (QI) and patient safety initiatives.
• Promotes a culture of safety through open communication and debriefing with multidisciplinary team members.

Qualifications

• Current NYS registration as a Physician Assistant.
• Current certification issued by the NCCPA.
• Certified in External Fetal Monitoring.
• Current BLS certification.
• DEA Registration.

Wages and Benefits include:

The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $144,239** - $192,319**,  which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, and other factors as set forth below: 

• 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
  • Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
  • After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
