This QA/Testing Specialist position requires a highly skilled individual with 5+ years of experience in system testing, Agile methodologies, and test automation using Selenium or similar tools. The role involves developing and executing test plans, scripts, and cases for large systems, including GUI and non-GUI environments. Responsibilities encompass all phases of testing, from functional and integration testing to user acceptance testing and performance testing. The specialist will collaborate with project teams, manage defects, and contribute to process improvement initiatives within an Agile SCRUM environment. Partial assignment to projects related to the "Protect Ontario by Unleashing Our Economy Act 2025" may be required.

Responsibilities:
- Developing and executing test plans, test scripts, and test cases.
- Performing various types of testing, including functional, integration, system, regression, user acceptance, load, security, and configuration testing.
- Utilizing Selenium or similar tools for test automation.
- Managing defects using Azure Dev Ops or similar tools.
- Collaborating with project teams and stakeholders.
- Participating in Agile SCRUM meetings and providing status updates.
- Creating detailed documentation for UAT test cases and other artifacts.
- Conducting root cause analysis for identified problems.
- Contributing to process improvement initiatives.
- Researching and implementing new testing tools and technologies.
- Working with containerization technologies such as Docker within a continuous delivery/continuous release pipeline.
- Providing advice on testing strategy and resource allocation.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Systems Testing/QA Specialist.
- Experience with Agile Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with Agile Sprint Management and bug tracking solutions (e.g., Azure).
- Experience running automated tests.
- Experience with Selenium for developing automated test cases.
- Experience using Azure or other bug tracking tools.
- Demonstrated experience in all functions of system testing.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of testing methods in an object-oriented environment.
- Ability to identify, trace, isolate, and replicate problems and conduct root cause analysis.
- Experience documenting UAT Test Cases and other related UAT artifacts.
- Experience testing Business Process Management-based applications.
- Experience managing defect reporting and resolution.
- Experience developing test plans and reusable test cases.
- Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills; excellent English language verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Knowledge of AODA testing for WebUI and Documents.
- Experience with IBM AppScan, IBM Rational Rose , and other testing tools.
- Experience with RUP Methodology and Enterprise Architecture (Zachman Framework).
- Experience with SOAP/REST UI Backend testing.
