Job Description

Cordia Resources is looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Staff Accountant. This role will be responsible for key day-to-day accounting functions, including journal entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. Experience in the real estate industry is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with GAAP
• Manage full-cycle accounts payable and receivable processes
• Reconcile bank and general ledger accounts
• Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records
• Support ad hoc financial reporting and projects as needed

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate or property management
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and procedures
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Yardi, AppFolio, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required

• Experience in the real estate or property management industry a plus
• Familiarity with lease accounting and/or tenant billing a plus
