Job Title: Surgical/Operating Room Tech
Location: Syracuse, NY
Contract: 13 Weeks (Extendable)
Shift: Day/Evening | Straight 8-hour shifts or a mix of 8s & 12s
Pay:
Travel Rate: $54/hour
Local Rate: $47.20/hour
Assist in surgical procedures including general, ortho, vascular, ENT, GYN, trauma, neurosurgery, bariatric, and GU
Set up and maintain sterile fields, instruments, and supplies
Ensure equipment functionality and assist with room setup and turnover
Support surgical team in maintaining patient safety and procedural efficiency
Adhere strictly to infection control and safety protocols
Minimum 3 years of recent scrub tech experience (within the past 4 years)
Experience in Level 1 or Level 2 trauma centers (or comparable settings)
Proficient in general and specialty surgeries listed above
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
OB scrub experience
Surgical Tech Certification (strongly recommended)
