TAMPA SURVEY TECHNICIAN

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Preparation of design surveys, topography, and right of way mapping.
• Prepare design surveys using TopoDOT extraction software.
• Demonstrates solid working knowledge of digital terrain models (DTM) and 3D surfaces.
• Search legal and survey records and land titles to obtain information about property boundaries.
• Self-motivated and organized with good decision-making skills.
• Process and interpret survey data collected in the field.
• Potential for occasional field work including site inspections, courthouse research and quality assurance.
• Ability to draft parcels, or subdivision boundaries from legal descriptions using CAD techniques.
• Understanding of surveying terminology and preparation of a variety surveying products.

Requirements

• High School Graduate, Graduate of a drafting program a plus.
• Working knowledge of MicroStation, Civil 3D a plus
• Ability to work independently on multiple tasks and problem solve.
• Working experience with Microsoft Office software.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work for any employer in the United States.
