Job description

• Install and assemble the watches case components in preparation of the encasing of the movement
  • Dismantle the timepieces.
  • Remove the strap or the bracelet.
  • Separate movement/dial/hands from the case components.
• Check and ensure water-resistance of the case
• Transfer to the workshop in order to begin carrying out of the repair process
• Uncase approved watches that enter the Customer Service department
• Prepare Cases/bracelets for polishing (e.g. dismantle gaskets, pushers, etc.)
• Perform Case Refinishing tasks
• Interact with technical, administrative, and other staff members
• Other duties as assigned

Profile

We are looking for a committed and passionate Watch Technician with a serious eye for quality to join us and play a pivotal part in our customer’s experience. To allow us to achieve customer excellence, we are looking to recruit an experienced Case Prep / Uncasing Technician with experience in servicing a variety of Swiss made watches.

Professional requirements

• Impeccable attention to detail and ability to clearly follow and where needed, switch between detailed instructions
• Experience of working towards set targets
• A self-motivated individual who is able to deliver high standards of quality, in line with Brand standards
• A strong interest in developing a long-term career with the Swatch Group
• Technical experience in the watch industry is preferred .
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Excellent manual dexterity.
